Who We Are. RCOAST is a coastal change data company advancing intelligent adaptation through repeat drone-based LiDAR, RGB, and multispectral data capture. We provide communities, engineers, and academics with seasonal and rapid response data collection, mitigation performance indices, and science-based adaptation solutions. RCOAST’s living mitigation libraries reveal what works, where, and why—transforming complex coastal dynamics into clear, actionable intelligence. Our goal is simple: help coastal engineers, scientists, and decision-makers work smarter and faster, so together we can preserve the world’s coastlines for generations to come. Role Overview. We are seeking multiple Remote Drone Pilots (FAA Part 107 Certified) to join our mission-driven team advancing coastal resilience through data and science. These remote roles will be based along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of the U.S. and require frequent travel for both scheduled field missions and rapid-response deployments, including pre- and post-storm data collection. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with #UAV-based #LiDAR, #RGB, and/or #multispectral datasets. Experience setting up base stations for #RTK corrections, working with the National Geodetic Survey, uploading and processing data through #OPUS, and #georeferencing #LiDAR and #imagery datasets using ground control points (#GCPs) is required.
