Job Description

The Event Operations Manager will play a pivotal role on the Procore Event Marketing and Brand Activations team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the operations, budgeting, ROI measurement and overall logistics behind building world class hosted events and global brand activations. This position will work with the Event Marketing and Brand Activations team whose global team has subdivisions for hosted events, Tier 1 & 2 third party events, brand activations and event marketing campaigns. This position will also directly oversee event operations and facilities management for Procore’s global multi-faceted industry conference, and will be specifically responsible for managing Groundbreak’s 200k sq ft Expo Hall.

The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for managing key areas of operations including facilities management, budget management for the Groundbreak global series. Successful candidates have strong event marketing knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and a passion for organization and building processes that will contribute to the success of our programs.

This position reports into the Director of Event Marketing and can be based out of any of our US offices or remotely within the US. We're looking for candidates to join us immediately!

What you’ll do:

  • EMBA Team Operations: Budget Management, ROI Measurement and Reporting,

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the space configuration for the global Groundbreak series. This will require working with large scale venues such as convention centers, hotels, sports arenas, concert halls, etc. In addition to working with venue vendors on contracted internet, health, safety, security and F&B, this role will review contracts, assist in budget management, and build and own the master space grid.

  • Expo Hall: Lead the design and build out of the Groundbreak Expo Hall in accordance with Groundbreak strategy. Work in coordination with Groundbreak Sponsorship Manager to ensure ~150 sponsors/exhibitors needs are met. Manage internal and external stakeholders, including expo hall activation leads, staff and external agencies.

  • Act as the main point of contact for both internal teams and external vendors for programs under your management.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in event production

  • Effective communication across multiple channels with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to proactively anticipate obstacles and create solutions

  • Possess a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  • Passion for new technology, improving the lives of those in the construction industry, and event marketing

  • Certified Meeting Professional Certification is a plus

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $113,560 - $156,145. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
